More About Wine Club


​What do we get out of it when you join?   We get some new great friends that we see regularly at the tasting room and at our parties and we can better plan our production.   You see, we primarily sell our wines to club members and in our tasting room so you'll get amazing off-the-beaten-path high quality wine that you're not going to find just anywhere.   And if you're a sailor, there's the added bonus of our sailing theme!

We produce many of our wines with Red Mountain fruit from vineyards you know such as Ciel du Cheval, Heart of the Hill, Kiona, Ranch at the End of the Road, Shaw, and Quintessence along with other premium Washington vineyards such as Discovery.​

​As you learn more about our wine lineup, you'll realize we are the only winery in Washington that specializes in Sangiovese and Super-Tuscan style blends.   You might find a Bordeaux or Rhone-style producer in Washington who also produces a Sangiovese but none who put the time into making Sangiovese and Sangiovese blends that rival the best red wines of any type from any region -some say even better than many produced in Tuscany!

 

As a Friends of Genoa (FOG) member, you will receive a modest 2 bottle allocation each quarter (Jan, Apr, Jul, Oct) for a total 8 bottles each year.  Typically we release a mainline red along with a reserve red.   We automatically charge your credit card minus 15% for your allocation.    If we are shipping to you, we typically combine Winter and Spring shipments to ship in March to ensure proper travel temperatures.   Summer and Fall shipments are combined to ship in September. 


As a Captain's Quarters member, you will receive 3 bottles of each allocation for a total of 6 per quarter.  You'll receive 2 cases each year.   We automatically charge your credit card minus 20% for your allocation.  If we are shipping to you, we typically combine Winter and Spring shipments to ship in March to ensure proper travel temperatures.   Summer and Fall shipments are combined to ship in September.


Most members pick up at our tasting room but for those outside easy driving range, we will ship the wine to you for  an additional charge determined by UPS.  


UPS charges are added to the charge and can range from around $15-25 (2 bottles),  $35-$55 (12 bottle case) depending on distance and number of bottles. 

JOIN THE CLUB

Our wine club is pretty simple.   By you agreeing to receive regular allocations of our best wines, we reward your loyalty by giving you a generous discount on your club allocations, discounts on all wine purchases in our tasting room, plus many other benefits.


  • Receive premium red wines made from the best fruit Washington has to offer including vineyards from Red Mountain, Wahluke Slope, and Horse Heaven Hills.  Equivalent at another winery is likely double!  Current clubs are red-only but whites can be purchased at discount.
  • Receive 15-20% on all wine purchases at the tasting room or online at our Web site
  • Taste for free at our tasting room
  • Receive invitations to club release parties with access to the winemakers
  • Access to wine-club-only reserve and library wines not sold to the public
  • Occasional promotions where we increase discounts on certain wines - sometimes Double!
  • We save our best library wines and release them to club members on occasion
  • You can cancel anytime so there really isn't an obligation other than you will know you're helping to build a small winery while getting some great wine for yourself.
