Terms and Conditions

We welcome your membership into the Genoa Cellars Wine Club. Members agree that:

Membership Terms

• Club members and recipients must be at least 21 years old. An adult of legal drinking age must sign for all wine deliveries.

• Membership is valid for U.S. residents only.

• Wine can only be shipped to states where Genoa Cellars is licensed to ship. Residents of AL, AK, CA, CT, DE, IL, KS, MD, MA, MI, NH, NJ, SD, TN, TX, UT, and WV are ineligible for shipping due to state liquor laws but may join as pickup members.

• Genoa Cellars offers two membership levels. Friends of Genoa, or FoG, receives 2 bottles per quarter. Captain's Quarters, or CQ, receives 6 bottles per quarter.

• Genoa Cellars will bill the credit card on file prior to each allocation for the value of the wines, less your member discount of 15% for FoG or 20% for CQ.

• Tax is additional and will vary by destination. Shipping members are also charged a flat shipping fee per shipment.

By joining, members commit to a full one year term of four consecutive quarterly allocations. Early cancellation will result in a $100 fee charged to the card on file.

Allocations & Offerings

• Each allocation is curated by our winemaking team and features Tuscan style wines crafted from Washington fruit, with a focus on Red Mountain.

• Allocations typically include a mainline red alongside a reserve red. Limited releases and library wines may be offered to members as they become available.

• Allocations are curated and cannot be customized.

• Pickup members receive allocations quarterly. Shipping members receive two combined shipments per year, in March and September, to ensure safe travel temperatures.

• Release dates are subject to change.

• Some wines, including small lot and member exclusive releases, may have limited availability. If a wine sells out, we will substitute a wine of comparable value and let you know what changed.

• Member perks, including waived tastings and member pricing, are listed on our Club Options page and may be updated from time to time.

Communication & Notification

• It is your responsibility to notify us of any changes to your email, billing, and shipping information at least two weeks prior to a release so we can deliver your wine promptly. You can update your details anytime through your online account portal.

• You are responsible for charges related to misdirected, returned, or reshipped deliveries if we do not have your updated information.

• Email is the primary form of communication for wine club notifications, release dates, and updates.

Pickup Policy

• Pickup allocations will be held at our Woodinville tasting room for up to one year from the release date.

• Members will be notified by email when each allocation is ready for pickup.

• Any allocation not picked up within one year will be donated to local organizations and is not eligible for a refund or credit.

• Shipping members who would like to pick up their wine at the tasting room instead may let us know before their scheduled shipment.

Refunds & Returns

• Refunds are issued at Genoa Cellars' discretion. We are not able to accept returns of wines that are not to your personal preference.

• Shipping charges are non-refundable.

Shipping Liability

• Once wine leaves the winery, shipping carrier policies apply.

• Genoa Cellars is not responsible for delays caused by weather, missed deliveries, or carrier errors.

• If wines are lost or arrive damaged in transit, please notify us right away. Replacements or refunds will be handled on a case by case basis at Genoa Cellars' discretion.

Reshipment Costs

• Reshipped orders will be billed at the full cost of reshipping.

• In certain circumstances, Genoa Cellars may choose to cover or adjust reshipment costs at its discretion.

Weather & Shipping Conditions

• Wine can be affected by extreme temperatures. Shipments are timed for March and September to avoid summer heat and winter freezes.

• If conditions are unsafe at the time of a scheduled shipment, we may delay it until conditions stabilize or offer expedited delivery for an additional charge.

• Shipping options and timing depend on your location and the weather at the time of shipment.

Skips & Cancellation

• Members may skip a single allocation with at least two weeks' notice before its scheduled release.

• After completing the one year term, members may cancel at any time. Cancellation requests must be submitted at least two weeks prior to a scheduled release to avoid being billed for that allocation.

• Requests made within two weeks of a scheduled release will be considered at Genoa Cellars' discretion, and allocations already processed may still be billed and shipped.

Termination Rights (Winery)

• Genoa Cellars reserves the right to cancel any membership at its discretion, including for declined payments or unpaid balances that are not resolved after notice.

• Genoa Cellars may update these terms, pricing, and member perks from time to time. Members will be notified of material changes by email.
